Hi there! I’m Chris Woodhouse, a web developer by trade who recently took the plunge into the exciting world of indie game development. Since the end of 2021, I’ve been learning and working on game dev in my spare time. I wanted to share my journey, tips, and tutorials to help others on their own game development adventures.
As a seasoned web developer with over a decade of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, I've always had a deep-rooted passion for video games. The power of storytelling through interactive experiences has captivated me for years. While this dream had always been simmering, the COVID-19 pandemic provided the catalyst to turn it into a reality.
After exploring various game engines, I found Godot to be the perfect fit. Its user-friendly interface and robust features made it a joy to work with. The engine's versatility and community support aligned perfectly with my vision for creating engaging and immersive games.
